The Replacement Short Video

https://youtu.be/kXjvqBZ-HkE

For unit 4, we had to create a short film however with current situations of Covid-19, everyone has had to self-isolate and work from home. In doing this, I needed to download Premiere pro onto my laptop from Creative Cloud to complete the unit. However, I was unable to create the short film as intended too as some of my clips didn't work out in the end and were unable to be refilled due to social distancing. To create the short video, I used Premiere Pro. Whilst working on Premiere Pro, I added in clips from my SD card, created a sequence, downloaded copyright and royalty free music from online and also unlinked the audio from the clips from the background music to stop any interference. Once the video was edited and rendered, I exported the complete video onto my laptop and then downloaded it onto my YouTube account which will allow the public to view. When filming the clips used in the video, I worked with my friend Annalise to get work done faster and be more efficient but we needed to edit the final product separately as shown in the credits section of the video.

The Replacement Storyboard UPDATED

This is an updated version of our storyboard of how I will edit my film and what scenes we have filmed.  This will help as it is more organised and more chronological which helps the film make sense and easier to picture. By creating this, we were able to pinpoint which parts we needed and which parts didn't work out in result of making the storyboard more clearer.

Plan For Learning Aim B & C (Resubmit)

The pictures also show me filming the stairs scene which is one of the locations in our film in college and Annalise is using my phone to contact Lexi as I am saved as the 'Unknown Caller' on her phone in the film.

This helps us film our short film as it is more organised and we have our locations of where we are filming planned out which allows us to complete the location release and location scouting forms.  By completing this sheet, it allows us to note down who was in the meeting, when the meeting took place and who is taking action on the summary points.

The Replacement-Short Film Storyboard

This storyboard is beneficial to my production as I am aware of what shots and scenes I will be shooting and by creating this storyboard I am organised and won't mess things up. However there will be extra clips added in the film therefore it won't be the storyboard exactly.

The Replacement Script

The Replacement Script from BethPotter4

This is my non-dialogue script for my short film. In the script, it involves the scene headings, locations filmed, inside or outside, day or night, what type of shot and angle and what happened in the scene itself. This will help when filming as it has the different actions in each scenes so that the cast will understand what to do and where which will make things easier. There are only actions and locations in this script as it is non-dialogue.

Film Proposal

This is a film proposal for my film which explains the synopsis, the film treatment the screenplay structure, longline and tells you who is in the film. This is a main part of pre-production as it explains  the films narrative and also the film treatment.  The screenplay structure is similar to Todorov's narrative as there is a equilibrium, disruption and a resolution.

Pre-Production Initial Ideas

In this slideshow, I show what initial ideas we came up with and the equipment, props and locations we will need and a genre mood board which gives a slight hint at what the movie will be about. This will help create our product as it will help us conclude on one idea and how we are going to work around it.
